Getting into FCLC really varies by your majorDec 03 2004Other
Getting into FCLC really varies by your major. If you're considering theater, you'd better find some safer schools. It's an amazing program, and very hard to get in to. ON the other hand, if you're a Classics major like me, it's not nearly as hard, but because of its small size (only 2,000 students, half of them commuters) LC might simply get competitive because of space, so be careful if you're going for housing (it's no cakewalk to get for anyone, and some people are STILL on waiting lists to get into the incredible suite style dorms). Nothing special otherwise. The school loves a good essay more than a good SAT score. It's all about making sure you bring a unique package to the school that would make them want to put you into the mix (I wouldn't be surprised if being a Classics major possibly helped me out in the end when I applied). Show your personality in any way possible, because they're not accepting statistics or figures here.
